Net-Metering Grid Synchronization

Monetize Surplus Weekend & Holiday Solar Energy

Turn excess weekend and holiday generation into monetary utility credits. Under Bangladesh's national net-metering framework, surplus power generated when your factory is idle flows into the utility grid, offsetting your subsequent energy bill.

Grid Interconnection & Telemetry Standards

Full coordination with BPDB, DESCO, DPDC, BREB, and NESCO distribution networks.

Protocol 01

Zero Energy Wastage

Factories closed on Fridays or public holidays export clean energy back to the grid for full credit.

Protocol 02

Anti-Islanding Grid Protection

Automated isolation relays meeting IEEE 1547 to safeguard utility linemen during grid blackouts.

Protocol 03

Cloud Meter Telemetry

Hourly import/export data synced to your operations dashboard for verifiable audit trails.

Interconnection & Sealing Roadmap

01

Sanctioned Load Audit

Verifying transformer capacity matches maximum allowable net-metered sizing.

02

Protection Scheme Approval

Drafting single line diagrams, relay coordination, and vacuum breaker protection.

03

Joint Utility Inspection

Official on-site walkthrough with executive engineers from BPDB / DESCO / DPDC.

04

Smart Bi-Directional Meter Sealing

Calibrated sealing and formal activation of net-metered billing cycles.

Net-Metering Policy FAQs

How are exported solar units credited?

The bi-directional meter logs import and export separately. You are billed only on net units. If export exceeds import, credits roll over to the next month.

What is the maximum capacity permitted under net-metering in Bangladesh?

Current policy allows up to 70% of the customer's sanctioned electrical load or transformer rating, capped at 3 MWp per connection.
